From Burgers to Beignets: Naples, FL Food Truck Park

The food truck revolution is here to stay, so let’s celebrate at Celebration Park, in Naples, Florida, where diners can sample the fun, fresh, and diverse dishes from serious chefs in this open-air concept food park.

Food trucks are all the rage these days with the culinary world taking this once-overlooked restaurant-on-wheels style of cuisine to a whole new level. To get in on the foodie action and enjoy a meal al fresco by the water, take the less than 15-minute drive from Edgewater Beach Hotel or The Capri Inn to Celebration Park, Naples, the food-truck heaven with a permanent covered bar, live music, and plenty of waterfront seating just off Bayshore Drive on Becca Avenue. (This is an especially great option if you’re staying at The Capri Inn – especially for lunch or dinner as the 59-room boutique hotel in Naples only offers breakfast in its on-site lobby bistro lounge. Edgewater Beach Hotel, on the other hand, is home to the full-service, three-meal beachfront restaurant of Coast.)

Currently featuring eight food trucks, Celebration Park’s resident chefs pride themselves on serving up fresh and creative fare that spans cultures and flavors. The BBQ is slow-cooked on the spit on-premises, the fish are caught that day, burgers are gooey with cheese and bacon, and the tacos are authentic. Stop in for a full meal or something different and delicious to tide you over. With lawn games, live music, and the daily cocktail hour from 5-6 serving up drinks at half price, Celebration Park offers something for everyone in a friendly, festive, and flavor-driven atmosphere.

Wondering what to eat once you get there? Here are five menu items we think look super delicious on the menu.

What to Eat at Celebration Park

Islands Seafood’s Panko Triple-Tail Fried Fish Sandwich

This culinary delight with homemade pineapple salsa should be a Naples’ staple. Using the freshest catch and his natural talent, Chef Oran Townsend keeps it real with this island twist on a fish sandwich. The executive chef holds two culinary degrees: one from Johnson and Wales University and the other from Runaway Bay Heart Hotel training institute in Jamaica. So, it’s no surprise, this seafood truck serves up the tropical flavors of the islands with a Jamaican flair. This sandwich is just the beginning.

Nawty Hogg BBQ’s Sliced Beef Brisket Sandwich

These guys know BBQ! This sliced beef brisket sandwich has been slow roasted and hickory smoked to perfection. With nothing to cover up the meaty goodness but a lightweight bun and Nawty Hogg’s homemade BBQ sauce, you might just be in BBQ heaven.

Gigi Gourmet’s Gourmet Grilled Cheese

With a mixture of brie and gruyere, layers of fig jam, apple slices, and apple-smoked bacon, this gourmet grilled cheese offers sweet and savory goodness, with creaminess and crunch to boot. Add a side of truffle fries, and you might never go back to your regular grilled cheese.

Cousin’s Maine Lobster’s Warm and Cold Lobster Rolls

These two lobster rolls — the “Connecticut” served warm with butter and lemon, and the “Maine” served chilled with mayo — should come as a duo so you can go back and forth between bites to figure out which one you like best. Both are overflowing with fresh lobster and love. So good!

Mega Sabor Mexican’s Pollo Asada Half Chicken

This authentic Mexican truck gets out the grill and slow cooks their Pollo Asada, a half bone-in chicken marinated in Asada sauce and slightly charged. Try it with a side of rice and beans and salad.
